The entertainment at Lombard was a Beatles tribute band called Beatlution; and they even had a left-handed guitarist like Paul McCartney. See Beetles performances of their covers here.
My story for this event covers Ben’s 1946 Ford coupe. I met him at Westchester last year but just found out about his dark garnet pearl metallic 2 door (a 1990 Ford pickup color). He’s owned it thirty years and it was mostly restored with a stock exterior in 1974 but street rod innards. The motor and drive train are Chevrolet (406 c.i. motor) and the air conditioning is mounted in the rear! The seats and steering wheel are Cadillac.
