1958 Dodge Custom Royal Super D 500 (hold this)

Dominick purchased this classic ’50s auto in 1983 from a fellow in Hillside (who’d bought from the original owner in Berwyn) and it’s been garage kept ever since. Dom is only the third owner. The car is original but had to be repainted and some rust spots had to be repaired. Dominick rebuilt the 361 cubic inch motor; two 4 barrel carburetors pour plenty of fuel in the the power plant to make this Dodge ‘quick’. Gear selection for the transmission is by push buttons on the dash.

This car gets out for Cruise Nights (I’ve shot it at Lombard and Downers Grove) and car shows (most recently the 2012 Berwyn Route 66 show.

Dominic is a ‘hands on’ guy who loves to work on this beauty but now he has his son (who has a Hurst equipped Plymouth) help out.
